Mac & Mia

PROJECT

Mac & Mia offers the incredible service of a personal stylist for children’s clothing. They wanted to spiff-up their packaging design and create a fun, playful unboxing experience – for the kids as well as parents!

RESULT

We came up with the idea of a Mac & Mia ‘paper doll’ activity that includes fun stickers for little ones of any age. And the sticker sets are seasonal, so the variety of outfits are almost endless.

ROTI

PROJECT

Roti Modern Mediterranean has one purpose and that is to serve Food That Loves You Back. So when they decided to update and modernize their brand, the came to the right people. Roti wanted to create an image that could embody that mission and visually represent their brand in a beautiful way. They asked us to create a brand illustration that would be used as a large-scale, in-store artwork installation at numerous locations across the country.

Leadership: Carl Segal & AD: Kristen Caston

RESULT

24 Roti locations — throughout the Chicagoland, New York, Virginia, and Washington D.C. areas — were adorned with the brand illustration mural work, in a variety of wall surfaces and materials. The final brand illustration showcases a plethora of rich vegetables, olive oil, wholesome grains, lean proteins and many other delectable ingredients from their delightful cuisine. Equally beautiful and delicious. Lunch anyone?

Healthy School Campaign

PROJECT

Healthy Schools Campaign works to ensure that schools can provide students with healthy environments, nutritious food, opportunities for physical activity and experiences that support lifelong healthy habits. With robust and engaging programs like Space to Grow and Parents United, to the thrilling competition of Cooking Up Change, HSC is empowering the youth of Chicago and nationwide. We were fortunate enough to be able to lend our design hand.

HealthySchoolsCampaign.org

RESULT

Working with HSC over the years has included a wide variety of projects; a large series of education-oriented illustrated signage for a slew of schoolyards around Chicago, refreshing some of the program branding with fun pattern designs and even designing the annual schoolyard report. Oh, and tote bags for books! We are grateful for the opportunity to do our small part in advocating for future generations.

AmplifyIQ

PROJECT

AmplifyIQ helps brands, agencies and media companies connect with exclusive, verified audiences across all channels and devices with seamless data targeting integrations combined with robust insights and measurement solutions. That is what they told us anyway. We were tasked with branding this complex, technology driven endeavor so that it would compliment Signal and still be approachable for a variety of audiences.

RESULT

With the clean, corporate but very friendly Signal brand as a starting point we dove in head first. Utilizing a strong word-mark that integrated an emphasis on the ‘IQ’ icon and a series of trend/security ‘wave’ patterns, we established the foundation of the brand. From there we created simple, clean information graphics and illustrations to showcase complex information and make it more easily digestible to a wide range of audiences. Jean-Louis Deniot

JLD16

PROJECT

Jean-Louis Deniot is recognized globally for his eclectic and emblematic interiors, he draws upon his academic training to translate his designs that are both informal and bold. For the debut of his collection for Baker Furniture we were fortunate enough to be part of the team — toting the emphatic Tristan Butterfield as the Global Creative Director — to make this launch come to life.

Photography by Tony Duran.

RESULT

With a collection that effortlessly spans the gamut of classic contemporary to futuristic classic, the design support needed to be equally versatile and supply a grounded support system to showcase the beautiful collection. We utilized a sophisticated approach to the absolutely gorgeous photography, pairing with it elegant typography and an adaptable pattern series that utilized the antique golds, muted grays/silvers and ivory color palettes to exhibit the collection as a whole.
